BACHELOR EXHIBITION 2025
– The Royal Danish Academy, Crafts in Glass and Ceramics on Bornholm

September 5 – November 9 2025

Welcome to this summer’s bachelor exhibition from the Royal Danish Academy, Crafts in Glass and Ceramics on Bornholm. The exhibition presents projects by 9 Danish and international students in  ceramics. It is the result of three years of studies, where the students have had the opportunity to develop their technical skills and personal expression in close dialogue with the materials. At this year’s exhibition, you can see how some of the students work with old craft traditions, based on their own cultural roots. It can be from the area around Glasriket in Småland, or a student who comes from Sweden or Finland. Others work with clay as sculptural expressions, exploring basic forms such as vessels and how these relate to and are inspired by the human body. At the exhibition, visitors can both see and experience works that refer to function and everyday use, as well as objects that focus on form, material, and aesthetics.
