Welcome to CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art Denmark

Special Access Conditions at CLAY – 25 May 2026

On 25 May, Middelfart hosts the Royal Run. CLAY will be open as usual from 10.00 to 17.00. In connection with the Royal Run, we invite visitors to take part in the activity Leave Your Mark, where both children and adults can make their fingerprint on a large ceramic vessel.

Due to the Royal Run, access to the museum will be affected on the day:

  • As a general rule, the area will be closed to car traffic throughout the day
  • Pedestrians and cyclists can access the area via Kongebrovej approximately between 10.00 and 14.00
  • The waterfront path will be closed approximately between 12.00 and 13.00 due to the 10 km race
  • The 5 km race will pass along Kongebrovej approximately between 14.30 and 16.00

We recommend arriving on foot or by bicycle.
